Practical Presentation Explains and Illustrates Real-World Web 2.0 Learning Solutions
Mountain View, CA – February 3, 2010 – Expertus, a global provider of services that optimize the business impact of learning, today released a presentation that explores Web 2.0 learning portals as a way to better reach employees, customers and external stakeholders.
With a distinct focus on the extended enterprise, the presentation offers a view into what organizations are doing – and where they’re headed – using the power of learning portals. To view it for free, visit http://www.brainshark.com/brainshark/vu/view.asp?pi=291378388.
In a study conducted by Expertus and Training Industry, Inc., researchers found that within the next two years, 45 percent of survey respondents plan to upgrade their existing learning portal and 14 percent plan to launch a new learning portal. Given the broad interest in this technology, Expertus created a presentation that explores the practical uses of portals. The 22-minute presentation, narrated by industry expert Kathleen Waid, offers research findings, definitions and real-life examples.
“Learning portals have taken on a new definition and are no longer just a website for training,” said Mohana Radhakrishnan, VP of Client Services for Expertus. “Companies can jump right into on-demand, Web 2.0 learning and more effectively reach all learners if their portal is appropriately designed.”
