This client faced tremendous
complexity when expanding beyond employee training
to serve customers, channel partners, and the
IT community at-large. The organization’s global training curriculum
is diverse, encompassing product education and
certification courses. Channels also are diverse,
including traditional classroom sessions, web-based
training and blended Learning solutions. Further,
because audiences have diverse goals and needs,
adaptability is essential—requiring features
such as multi-lingual support. Prior to our engagement,
the company invested in a leading enterprise LMS
and integrated eCommerce engine to drive registration
and delivery operations. |
Solution: |
Leveraging capabilities within the
existing LMS, we created a secure, centralized,
reliable system to manage training for all internal
and external Learning constituents. This included
an online interface inspired by the corporate web
design. The portal reinforces core branding and
business values, while elevating the visibility
and importance of education. |
Results: |
We streamlined course information
management and improved Learning access for more
than 2500 employees in 20 countries – as
well as thousands of customers and partners throughout
North America. In addition, we integrated Learning
progress reporting with the company’s accounting
and management dashboards, so executives can
view, analyze and act on key performance indicators
in real time.
As a result, online orders have grown to represent
20% of all Learning orders processed. What’s
more, management has been able to monitor these
advancements.
In the next phase, we plan to extend the client’s
Learning capabilities to all customers and partners
across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the
Asia Pacific region. |
