Expertus Hires Mike Murrell as VP

Former GlobalKnowledge Executive, to Lead Business Development    

Mountain View, CA – July 31, 2006 – Expertus, a provider of strategic training outsourcing services, recently named Mike Murrell as vice president of business development.  Murrell will oversee all direct and channel sales and will manage the company’s partner relationships. 

Expertus was recently recognized as an Emerging Outsourcing Leader by TrainingOutsourcing.com, a company that works with buyers and sellers of training-related services.  Expertus provides a variety of training outsourcing services in business consulting, technology, content, and strategic business process outsourcing and works with major companies such as Cisco, ADP, EMC, and Hyperion.

Murrell brings to Expertus more than 12 years of experience in technology, learning, and business development.   Murrell worked for GlobalKnowledge, a provider of training and learning services for IT and management professionals, for eight years.  He held multiple sales leadership positions with responsibility for end-to-end account strategy and for managing major corporate accounts, such as SBC, Wachovia, McAfee, and AOL. 

Murrell also worked for The Hartford and Nortel.

Murrell graduated from Furman University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in economics.  He is a member of the Charlotte/Blue Ridge chapter of Mensa, serves on the board of directors of the Fort Mill Rotary Club, and is active in community fund-raising activities.
