POSITION:
Global Account Manager - ExpertusONE Social Learning Platform Sales
Expertus, Inc., a rapidly growing leader in managed learning services and software, is expanding our sales team as part of our ExpertusONE Social Learning Platform launch. LOCATION:
USA – San Jose, CA and/or Charlotte, NC areas.
Remote employment
outside of these areas may be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve or exceed target production number within target accounts, partners and assigned leads
- Grow business using Expertus services and solutions based on our new social learning platform
- Manage own proposal writing and assembly using provided templates - with support from marketing resources
- Must be familiar and experienced with writing and processing MSAs, SaaS/SaaA agreements, and SOWs
- Maintain (daily) customer contact database (Salesforce.com)
- Maintain pipeline and activity reports in CRM
- Continuously pursue job related self-improvement through periodicals, books and audio courses, webinars, and seminars
- Provide useful feedback to executives, as we continuously improve product/service mix and strategy
- Approximately 30-40% travel
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding and experience with SaaS sales in corporate learning environments
- Successful experience selling into complex multi-buyer environments
- Successful experience selling
solutions into at least two of the following:
- IT stake holders
- Learning business stakeholders
- Sales and channel learning stakeholders
- 5-8+ years experience
- Undergraduate and advanced degree preferred
- Strong, demonstrable history of career advancement
- Must have experience and willingness to lead and be held accountable for significant amount of prospect, account, and pre-call research, analysis, and planning - with help from management and internal marketing resources (at least 20% of job)
- Demonstrable history of quota achievement/over-achievement

- Interest in the enterprise learning space (and in adding value to learning organizations)
- Interest in a high-profile, high-scrutiny role

- Persuasive and persistent without being overbearing
- Able to get creative and smart in designing appropriate and defensible solutions (previous experience preferred)
- Able to work in concert with Expertus Product Management and internal SMEs to close deals (a team environment with some shared goals)
- Able to work with sales team members to cultivate and nurture leads (requires some teaming with other sales staff)
- Long-term customer and business focus
- Must have experience and willingness to be held accountable for forecasting
- Must have strong familiarity with corporate learning technology tools, providers, features - and their roles
